1930: Maurice BIHR, third generation, becomes Managing Director. Under his impetus, production grows from 200 tonnes per year to 15,000 tonnes.
1960: Headed by Jacques BIHR, fourth generation, the company enters the polypropylene era, challenging the international market
1983: emergence of the BIHR Group with the acquisition of TODA, a company specialized in manufacturing decorative ribbons
1998: BIHR celebrates its first centenary
2003: Patrick DURAND SMET buys out the company and asserts his desire to make BIHR an independent and stable group. |
